Find Your Fit

Every Cruel Royalty tee is printed on a Comfort Colors 1717 — a heavyweight, garment-dyed unisex shirt with a relaxed cut and dropped shoulders. It runs about a size larger than a standard fitted tee, so the size you pick is really a choice of how you want it to sit. Use the models below (real height & weight) to see the same shirt from fitted to oversized, then check the chart.

Three Ways To Wear It

Same body, same shirt style — the only thing that changes is the size on the tag.

Closer / Fitted

Size Down

Pick one size below your usual. Sits closer to the body with a shorter, tidier length — still soft, never tight. Best if you like a trimmer streetwear silhouette.

Your Size

Pick your normal size. This is how the 1717 is meant to wear — relaxed through the body with an easy drop shoulder. The safe pick for most people.

Oversized / Baggy

Size Up

Go one (or two) sizes up for a boxy, oversized drape — longer body, wider shoulders, that lived-in vintage look. Great layered or worn loose.

Size Chart

Comfort Colors 1717, measured flat. Chest is pit-to-pit (lay the shirt flat and measure across) — double it for the full circumference. Length is high point of shoulder to hem.

Best trick: measure a tee you already own

  1. Take a t-shirt you love the fit of and lay it flat.
  2. Measure straight across from armpit to armpit — that's the chest (flat) number.
  3. Measure from the top of the shoulder down to the hem for length.
  4. Match those to the chart above. Closest match = your relaxed / true size. Want it tighter? Go one down. Want it oversized? Go one up.

Quick Guidance

For Him

  • Most guys: order your normal tee size for the relaxed 1717 fit.
  • Between sizes? Size down for a trimmer look, stay true for classic streetwear.
  • Want it oversized? Go one up (or two for a heavy drop-shoulder drape).
  • Broad chest or muscular build: size up one for comfort through the shoulders.

For Her

  • Fitted look: size down one — it's unisex, so a smaller size reads closer and shorter.
  • Relaxed / boyfriend: order your normal size for that easy, lived-in fit.
  • Oversized / dress: go one or two up — great knotted, cropped, or worn loose.
  • Petite frames often love an S for everyday and an M–L for the oversized vibe.
